North Dakota Governor John Hoeven signs the 2009 Entrepreneurship Week Proclamation proclaiming February 21-28, 2009, as North Dakota Entrepreneurship Week. On hand to witness this proclamation were five 6th grade students from Saxvik Elementary School who completed projects for a Marketplace for Kids Education Day in 2008. They were joined by the 2009 2nd place winner of the youth category Marketplace/Northern Plains Invention Contest, Jonah Eslinger, from Horizon Middle School in Bismarck. Marketplace for Kids is designed to encourage innovative thinking at all ages by showcasing the ideas of North Dakota’s young people.
