North Carolina's Haywood Community College celebrates National Entrepreneurship Week

 Haywood Community College

Haywood Early College students had their first taste of the entrepreneurial world from viewing videos of local entrepreneurs. After viewing the videos, students discussed various aspects of each one such as the similarities and differences, the local competition, and the challenges each business owner faced. The class also discussed what it takes to be an entrepreneur and these adjectives were used to describe the requirements: risk, courage, dedication, commitment, capital, high energy, contacts. Videos from HCC's series "Focus on Haywood County Entrepreneurs" available to be viewed at the Apple iTunes Stores as a podcast.  The link to view the videos using the RSS reader is at http://www.haywood.edu/ent.rss
